Fort St John RCMP are investigating a possible domestic assault from earlier this month.
Someone reported a dispute between a man and a female in a gold coloured SUV at 12:45 p.m. August 5.
The vehicle was parked on the side of the southbound lane of Highway 97near 86th Street.
Witnesses saw the man exit the vehicle, go around to the passenger side, yelled at and appeared to strike a female passenger, and then tried to pull her out of the SUV.
The man then got back in the vehicle and drove off toward Taylor.
The man was described as:
- caucasian,
- tall and skinny,
- scruffy blonde hair,
- wearing a T-shirt and blue jeans.
The passenger was described as:
- female,
- caucasian,
- dark curly hair.
