The province says four new bridges along Highway 97 the Peace are complete.
The new structures, all located near Chetwynd, were built in response to severe flooding that swept through the region in 2016.
Transportation minister Claire Trevena says the ministry has invested over $80 million on the recovery work which will ensure safe travel along Highway 97 during heavy rain and flooding.
Two bridges and a culvert project in the Dawson Creek and Chetwynd areas are expected to be complete by this fall.
