The Prince George RCMP has issued a public warning after a recent boost in vehicle thefts.
The detachment has received seven reports of stolen Ford trucks and vans in the area since the beginning of July.
Investigators say the vehicles were primarily taken from parking lots, including the BCR Industrial site, a local pulp mill, retail stores, and hotels.
Police are encouraging the public to report suspicious people, vehicles, and activities when they see it.
Prince George RCMP are also reminding owners to lock doors and utilize an anti-theft device, such as an immobilizer.
