Two upcoming decisions relating to the proposed Kitimat LNG project have the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency seeking public input.
Not to be confused with the LNG Canada project, Kitimat LNG is a separate endeavour, slated for Bish Cove.
In order to decide whether a federal assessment process should belaunched, the Agency is seeking to guage public opinion.
They are looking for impacted residents and Indigenous groups to provide comments on the project and its potential impacts.
In addition, BC’s provincial government has requested that they conduct the assessment process in the Agency’s stead.
