According to the most recent flood maps, roughly 120 properties in the Cariboo were impacted by the recent overflowing of the Chilcotin River.
On Tuesday, the BC River Forecast Centre declared a flood warning for the are around the River.
That came following a weekend of persistent and significant rainfall which led to riverflows strong enough to uproot trees.
Over 100 millimetres of rain has fallen in the Big Creek area since last week, prompting the Cariboo Regional District to open their Emergency Operations Centre.
Now the Forecast Centre says water levels are beginning to rescede, but are still significant.
There is no current estimates on when the impacted roads will be useable once more.
The EOC will remain open and will continue to offer assitance to impacted residents.
