A landslide near the Kitimat River is reportedly to blame for a District issued request to limit water usage.
Yesterday evening, the District sent out a message to residents asking them to limit water usage due to dirty source water.
Amid rumours that their operations were to blame, Coastal GasLink sent out an aerial team to scan the area.
That team discovered a landslide near the 18 Mile Bridge which they say is unrelated to their activities.
The temporary and voluntary request to limit water has since been lifted.
