Even the Office of the Auditor General becomes the topic of reports from time to time.
This morning, the Office released their 2018-19 annual report and financial statements.
Across roughly 40 thousand man-hours of work, the Office produced 40 financial audits, 11 performance audits, and 8 information reports last year.
Some of the topics covered in those reports include: BC Hydro’s asset management, BC Oil and Gas Commission management, health service access, and commercial vehicle safety.
In total, the Office came in 2.5 percent underbudget for the 2018-19 fiscal year.
