A simple burnt out brake light led to the seizure of weaponry, ammunition, and numerous drugs in Fort St John.
On June 1st, an officer pulled over a vehicle near the intersection of 100th Avenue and 100th Street due to a burnt out brake light.
During the stop, the officer noted what he believed to be cocaine on the front passenger floor.
Following the arrest of the occupants, police searched the vehicle to uncover a sawed-off shotgun and ammunition, as well as what is believed to be crack cocaine, powder cocaine, and meth.
All three of the vehicle’s occupants were arrested, but were later released to appear in court at a later date.
