There could be another transportation option for people wanting to bus between Prince George, the Cariboo, and Kamloops.
Ebus BC has announced that it’s applied to the Passenger Transportation Board to launch a new service along the Highway 97 corridor.
Ebus says the route would head up the highway from Kamloops through Cache Creek, 100 Mile House, Lac la Hache, Williams Lake, Quesnel, Hixon, and Prince George.
The Edmonton-based company says it’s working on stop locations, schedules, and pricing, and plans to launch as soon as possible pending a successful application.
Williams Lake-based Adventure Charters began an inter-city bus service in May, which also operates along the Highway 97 corridor.
The operators are seeking to fill the void left when Greyhound pulled out.
