June is all about wildfire preparedness for the City of Quesnel.
Throughout the month, the City will be hosting a number of events, meetings, and workshops to help residents face the wildfire season.
June 8th has been declared Wildfire Preparedness Day, with a focus on learning how to work together as neighbours to prevent fires.
Residents will be able to check out an information both that will be set up in Spirit Square between 11:00 and 1:00 to learn about FireSmart activites.
Workshops will also be hosted in Quesnel on June 1st between 10:00 and 2:00, at the same time the next day in Bouvhie Lake and in Ten Mile Lake on June 8th, and on the 9th in Kersley from 1:00 to 5:00.
