Next week marks the long-awaited release of the National Inquiry in to Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls’ final report.
After gathering truths and testimonies from over 14 hundred individuals at 24 hearings across Canada, the Inquiry will release the report on June 3rd.
During their years-long consultation, Inquiry members heard from a range of residents impacted by tragedies such as the Highway of Tears.
A final report compiling all of their findings will be presented during a ceremony in Gatineau.
