Pembina’s mission to bring a propane export terminal to Watson Island is a step closer to fruition after receiving a permit from Prince Rupert Council.
That permit will allow Pembina to perform 20 million dollars in rehabilitation and repairs to the wharf on Watson Island.
Upgrades to the wharf will allow it to serve as a loading dock when the liquefied petroleum gas storage facility is built.
In total, the project is projected to cost Pembina and their partners 270 million dollars.
