A mandatory inquest in to a 2014 Valemount death has been launched by the BC Coroners’ Service.
51 year-old John Robert Buehler was declared dead on September 17th, 2014 following a police-involved incident at a remote cabin south of Valemount.
Under the Coroners Act, inquests in to all deaths that occur while an individual is in the custody of a peace officer are mandatory.

The inquest is scheduled to start in the Prince George Courthouse at 9:30 in the morning on July 15th.
