B.C. residents will soon get a chance to have a say about what they’d like to see in the next provincial budget.
The Select Standing Committee on Finance and Government Services will hold 15 community consultations for Budget 2020 starting next month.
Committee hearings come to the North Coast June 17 in Prince Rupert, the 18 in Kitimat and Prince George, and Fort St. John and Quesnel June 19.
Resident can speak to the committee in person, by teleconference, provide a written, audio or video submission, or fill out an online survey.
Registration for public hearings opens Monday, May 27, at 9 a.m. via the committee’s website: https://bcleg.ca/FGSbudget
The deadline for all input is Friday, June 28 at 5 p.m.
The expects to release its report in late July or early August.
