Crews fighting a wildfire east of Fraser Lake appear to have the upper hand.
The Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako rescinded an evacuation alert for an area near the Lejac Wildfire late Tuesday afternoon.
The BC Wildfire Service says, as of Tuesday morning, the fire was 70 percent contained and remained at 236 hectares.
Officials say the blaze is 100 percent guarded between machine-built and natural fuel breaks.
