An audit in to small-scale salvagers in the Cariboo-Chilcotin has returned little negative feedback.
According to the Forest Practices Board, small-scale salvage license holders met all requirements under the Forest and Range Practices and Wildlife Acts.
One licensee was found to have trees outside of their boundries, but has already taken corrective action.
Small-scale alvaging refers to the harvesting of small patches of dead or damaged timber within a 2 thousand cubic metre licensed area.
This audit examined harvesting, silviculture, and fire protection between September 2017 and 2018.
