Williams Lake Mayor Walt Cobb is taking back some of his responsibilities as he continues to recover from a heart attack.
Cobb checked himself in to Cariboo Memorial Hospital on April 10th after noticing discomfort.
He was subsequently transferred to Kelowna General Hospital, where he had successful surgery to treat the cardiac issue.
On Monday, Cobb made his first appearance back in the municipal spotlight as he attended the North Central Local Government Convention.
Mayor Cobb is continuing to represent the community at the ongoing conference, but is only returning to work in a limited capacity for the time being.
