Fort St. John RCMP say two arsons that took place in the city may be related.
Police were first called out to the 10100 block of 114A Avenue after a man was seen pouring an accelerant on a white Ford pickup and setting it on fire. The blaze completely destroyed the truck and damaged another pickup nearby.
The suspect was seen getting into the passenger side of a newer black Chevy Silverado
Investigators say officers were called out to the 8500 block of 86th Street a short time later and found a burning Pontiac Grand Am.
Both arsons took place April 28 between 9:30 and 10:00 p.m.
