There doesn’t seem to be any end to pain at the pump for BC drivers.
With a recent jump, the price for a litre regular in Terrace is at 142.9, although it’s not quite as bad as Vancouver’s average price per litre at 165.0.
While Premier John Horgan says he’s still opposed to shipping bitumen through the Trans Mountain Pipeline and exporting it from Vancouver, he would like to see more gasoline sent through the line to ease BC prices at the pump.
Horgan says he recently learned refined product coming to BC through the pipeline has been cut by 10 per cent.
The Premier said Wednesday that a phone call with the Prime Minister about the situation was in the works.
A litre of regular gas in Prince Rupert currently costs 146.9, Smithers is at 139.9 and both Quesnel and Williams Lake are at 139.9.
