A unique idea put forward by Quesnel City Council could help ease moving pains for healthcare workers.
During discussions on how to improve recruitment and retention of healthcare professionals, Council brought up the idea of providing temporary housing.
Council voted to approve a trial plan, which would one 2-bedroom apartment rented out.
Before moving forward with the plan, the City’s Healthcare Recruitment Coordinator will meet with Northern Health to coordinate the pilot.
