Four new fire chiefs are among those appointed to the Cariboo Regional District’s 14 volunteer fire departments.
Chris Haddad of the 108 Mile department, Jim Sales of the Ten Mile department, Lance Wilkins of the West Fraser department, and Brad Elliott of the Wildwood department are the fresh appointees.
Fire chiefs for the other 10 departments, as well as the Central Cariboo Search and Rescue, were acclaimed.
Those appointed will fill the role until March 31st of 2022.
