Quesnel RCMP are investigating an assault that happened early Friday morning.
Police were called out to the 500 block of Callanan Street around 4:00 a.m. where they found a man suffering severe injuries.
Investigators are asking anyone who may have seen or heard anything around the time of the incident or who may have video surveillance to contact Quesnel RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
RCMP say the investigation is in its early stages and have released no further information.
