A group of nurses from Williams Lake are doing their part to restore regular maternity services at Cariboo Memorial Hospital.
Five nurses from the city are currently in Kamloops for the second part of a 10 week training course.
As part of the training, the nurses are undergoing hands-on training and simulations after completing the first, online, portion.
In February, Cariboo Memorial was forced to suspend obstetrical services due to a critical shortage of maternity nurses.
