Highway 16 was closed east of New Hazelton due to a crash Wednesday night.
According to the transportation ministry, a serious collision shut down the route in both directions approximately 13 km east of the community.
The incident happened between Suskwa Forest Service Road and Station Road West.
The route was re-opened to single-lane alternating traffic later in the evening.
