Salvage crews are expected to be at the site of a tanker truck incident north of Fort Saint John today.
The BC environment ministry says the truck, carrying condensate, crashed last night near Charlie Lake and caught fire.
Fire crews from Fort Saint John put out flames on the tractor portion of the rig while a contractor made sure that the tanker contents did not go up in flames.
The ministry says environmental impacts from the crash and fire appear to be confined to the site.
