RCMP in Quesnel are revealing very little regarding an incident which saw a number of homes evacuated this weekend.
Police were intitially called to the 200 block of Ritchie Street at roughly 3:30 Saturday afternoon.
When they arrived, police spoke with a victim of an undisclosed incident and determined that others were still inside of the host residence.
Out of precaution, officers had the surrounding homes evacuated before beginning negotiations with the occupants.
Two of the residents surrendered following hours of negotiation, and a third individual was located hiding inside the home afterwards.
That man was found to be wanted on several outstanding warrants.
Residents were allowed to return to their homes at roughly 10:00 Saturday night.
Police are holding one man in custody, but are not releasing names or further details at the moment.
