Williams Lake RCMP came to the rescue of a baby who had become locked in a car yesterday afternoon.
At roughly 3:30, police were called out to Kiwanis park by the child’s mother.
According to the mother, she had just finished buckling her child in to the backseat when she realized she had locked her keys inside the car.
She immediately called the RCMP for assistance.
When they arrived on scene, officers broke the rear quarter window to unlock the door and were able to get the child out safely.
