A report of a passed out man led to the seizure of guns and a number of drugs in Fort St John on Monday.
Early Monday morning, RCMP were called to the corner of 93rd Avenue and 93rd Street after receiving reports of a man passed out in a running Dodge Ram.
Once on scene, officers discovered an open bottle of liquor and suspected cocaine in the vehicle.
When they attempted to wake the driver, he appeared to try to put the truck in to gear before officers removed and arrested the man.
Upon further inspection, police located a loaded handgun, rifle, knitted mask, collapsible batons, knives, and suspected cocaine, fentanyl, cannabis, mushrooms, and cash in the truck.
Police were able to identify the suspect as a Taylor resident who is prohibited from driving, and owns several vehicles which have fled police in recent weeks.
