Sunday’s warm weather was a record-breaker for some northern B.C. communities.
According to Environment Canada, Prince Rupert set a new high of 14.3 degrees Celsius, just edging out the previous record set 36 years ago.
Mackenzie got to 11.5 degrees, outstripping its previous record of 10.0 set in 1992.
Even Fort Nelson was balmy, beating its 1947 record high with a temperature of 14.3.
Warm weather is expected to remain for much of the province for the next few days.
