Skeena Sawmills has donated a stretch of park land behind their properties to the City of Terrace.
Teddy Ciu stood before City Council yesterday during their regular council meeting to make the announcement.
Ciu also mentioned how honoured he was to be able to continue their long-standing relationship with Terrace through the Sawmill.
The park land in question is located directly behind the Skeena Sawmills lot, along the Nisga’a Highway, and across from the pioneer cemetary.
