Highway 97 north of Prince George could be closed until Sunday night.
Few details are available, but the route was shut down in both directions Sunday afternoon due to a vehicle incident just south of McLeod Lake.
The road is shut down between Poplar Point Road and Homewood Road and no detour is available.
The transportation ministry says the estimated time of reopening is currently 9:00 p.m.
