Members from more than 50 First Nations groups across Canada were in Prince George today for the First Nations Major Projects Coalition.
It was the second day of meetings for the organization which aims to assist First Nations with resource and project development.
Yesterday’s meetings focused on establishing understanding between business and Indigenous interests and core values.
As part of their annual general meeting, the group is expected to adopt assessment standards for major projects and consider research related to First Nations ownership of electricity transmission infrastructure.
