A key volunteer organization in Prince George just celebrated their 100th anniversary.
Committed to improving health care delivery at the hospital, the Auxiliary to the University Hospital of Northern BC has now been a community fixture for a century.
Both the Auxiliary Gift Shop and Auxiliary Thrift Shop are operated by the not-for-profit, with all proceeds going to medical equipment and student bursaries.
Since their 1919 launch, the Auxiliary has donated more than 5.5 million dollars and provided over one million volunteer hours.
