Williams Lake RCMP are recommending a charge of attempted murder after a shooting in the city.
Police say they were called out to the 1100 block of 3rd Avenue North at 6:18 Saturday night.
A female victim was taken to Cariboo Memorial Hospital and RCMP arrested a female in connection with the incident.
Mounties say the wounded person remains in hospital in stable condition and the suspect is being held in custody.
RCMP are not releasing any other details.
