Queen Charlotte RCMP are investigating an armed robbery at a local business.
Police say a male suspect armed with a knife entered Howlers Beer and Wine Store Sunday night just before eight o’clock.
The suspect demanded cash from the worker and then fled with a bottle of rum.
RCMP say the suspect is described as Caucasian, standing about 6’1″ with a slim build, and wearing dark jeans, a two-tone grey and black jacket, white shoes, and carrying a black backpack.
The clerk was not injured and police say there were no customers in the store at the time of the robbery.
