First Nation to make “major announcement” regarding pipelines

A Prince George area First Nation says it has a “major announcement” about gas pipelines running through its traditional territory.

The Lheidli T’enneh have scheduled a news conference for Wednesday morning, but have provided no other details.

An Enbridge natural gas pipeline exploded back in October, forcing about 100 members of the nearby First Nation community to temporarily evacuate.
