A fundraiser has been set up to help the family of a machine operator injured near Smithers this week.
Lando Rosger was at the controls of a grader east of town when he was struck by a train at the Lawson Road crossing Tuesday morning.
Rosger was airlifted from Smithers to Vancouver in critical condition.
While he is reported to be in stable condition now, family say he’s facing a long road to recovery.
A GoFundMe page has been set up to help to support his wife and three sons as they stay with him in Vancouver.
