Four grants and one funding increase have been approved by the Cariboo Regional District.
In Electoral Area G, 1 thousand dollars in funding will go towards extracurricular arts and cultural education thanks to the Mile 108 Parent Advisory Council.
Another 1 thousand will go to each of the Williams Lake Cross Country Ski Club, and the Pride Society for clubhouse upgrades and their ‘CampOUT! in the Cariboo’ youth camp, respectively.
One final grant, worth just over 28 hundred dollars, will go towards equipment and supplies for the Bouchie Lake Rural Crime Watch.
On top of those, the district also approved an annual funding increase for Quesnel Search and Rescue, bringing the total contribution to 14, 750 dollars.
