Help is on the way for thousands of immigrants in search of careers thanks to an 11 million dollar provincial investment.
By expanding settlement services by more than 45 percent, the province hopes to remove barriers preventing newcomers from turning their knowledge and experience in to employment.
Additional funding is also on the way for the Career Paths for Skilled Immigrants program, which will help people get the credentials needed to find work in their field.
More than 16 thousand individuals will have increased access to language training, employment resources, and immigration guidence.
Those benefits will come by way of increased investments in BC Settlement and Intigration Services.
