Frigid conditions are expected to grip the B.C. Interior from the Peace to the Cariboo over the next day.
Environment Canada has issued an extreme cold warning for Bulkley Valley, including Burns Lake, Williams Lake, Quesnel, and the North and South Peace.
Forecasters say a cold arctic airmass over the province will result in wind chills of minus 40 overnight.
Wind chill values are expected to ease tomorrow Saturday afternoon.
Arctic outflow warnings remain in place for Terrace, Kitimat, and Stewart as well as the Central Coast.
