A large swath of Northern B.C. could be in store for some heavy snow.
Environment Canada has issued a winter storm watch for a number of regions, including Bulkley Valley and the Lakes, the South Peace, and Prince George.
Forecasters expect a slow-moving frontal system to spread snow across the central interior starting Thursday morning.
The snow is expected to continue for some regions until the weather system moves into Alberta early Saturday, dumping between 15 and 30 cm on the ground.
Environment Canada says the watch may be upgraded to a storm warning as the forecast becomes more certain.
