New bench advertising regulations could be on the way should a proposed agreement go through in Terrace.
City Council received two recommendations from development services yesterday regarding the use of benches for advertising in the City.
Under the first recommendation, Northwest Bench Promotion would enter in to an exclusive 5 year agreement to place advertising benches within Terrace.
Recommendation two is for the city to create and adopt a currently non-existent, policy to regulate the placement of advertising benches.
Northwest Bench Promotions currently own roughly 50 advertising benches in the city, and have been operating in Terrace since 1994.
