Tensions are continuing to highten today between Wet’suwet’en First Nation members and Coastal GasLink employees.
Gidimt’en clan member Jen Wickham says CGL went illegally out of their way to bulldoze three tents along a logging road this weekend.
According to Wickham, the tents had been left standing following the RCMP injunction enforcement for cultural purposes.
In response, CGL says the tent structure was impeding crews from safely accessing work zones and the company had deemed them unsafe or unstable.
