One million dollars is being invested in salmon enhancement by the Prince Rupert Port Authority.
Announced earlier in the month, the Port is now reaching out to interested parties to inform them of the project.
Funding from the program will go towards projects which help maintain critical habitats in the Skeena River Watershed, and those that support the health and sustainability of Skeena River salmon.
To further show their support for the local environment, the Port Authority will also be releasing data from its environmental stewardship programs to help enhance local salmon related initiatives.
