Nominations are now open for the province’s Champions of Multiculturalism Awards.
Until February 21st, residents will be able to nominate businesses and individuals who actively stand up against racism and hate, and whose work has strengthened diversity in their community.
Separate awards will be handed out to individuals, businesses, and youths at a ceremony in Vancouver on March 21st.
The youth award recipient will receive 5 thousand dollars to donate to a not-for-profit organization of their choosing.
