200 thousand dollars is being invested in wildfire recovery by the BC Rural Dividends Fund.
Half of that grant funding will go to the Cariboo-Chilcotin Coast Tourism Association to impliment new tourism strategies.
The rest of the funding will go to the Sugar Can Development Corporation in 150 Mile House to impliment a wildfire recovery plan for the Williams Lake Indian Band.
This funding is part of the special circumstances stream of the Fund.
