Applications are now being accepted for the second year of BC Parks Student Ranger Program.
For 2019, the program will provide training and employment opportunities for 48 young adults, with at least 30 percent of those being Indigenous.
Thanks to funding from both the federal and provincial governments, the program offers hands-on work experience on conservations, and protected parks and areas.
12 crews of four rangers will be formed in different areas of the province, including Terrace, Fort St John, Bella Coola, and Williams Lake, among others.
Applications will be accepted until February 24th.
