Increased enforcement in Quesnel over the holiday season led to RCMP bringing in 11 drug impaired drivers in December.
Six of those violations were issued under the Cannabis Control and Licensing Act, meaning cannabis was with arm’s reach of the drivers.
On top of that, five drivers had their vehicles impounded as the result of field sobriety tests across 19 roadblocks.
Four driving suspensions were handed out, as well as five driving while prohibited charges, and one 24 hour suspension.
