Today is the day that Terrace City Council will make their recommendation regarding a proposed cannabis retail outlet in the Skeena Mall.
On November 6th, the BC Liquor Distribution Branch submitted an application for the store.
A public hearing was then held, and effected businesses consulted, with no negative feedback received.
RCMP were also consulted, with their only concerns being over increases in traffic flow.
Today, council is set to issue their official recommendation on whether or not to go ahead with the project during their regular council meeting.
