A Prince George man has been charged in relation to a break-in from this weekend.
On the night of December 16th, RCMP in Prince George were called to the 400 block of Queensway after a report of a break and enter in progress.
When police arrived they discovered that a car mirror had been broken off and used to smash the window of a business, where the suspect had stolen numerous clothing items.
A short time later, 43 year-old Robert Richard Prettie was arrested by police after he was found nearby, wearing clothes stolen from the business.
Prettie appeared in court earlier in the week and has been sentenced to 118 days in jail with 1 year probation for break and enter charges, possession of property obtained by crime under 5 thousand dollars, and mischief under 5 thousand dollars.
